April is right around the corner and I, for one, am committed to getting some serious scrapping done! National Scrapbook Day is in May and that means lots of amazing sales, giveaways, challenges and prizes! I want to be able to shop the sales and splurge a little with a clear conscience, don't you?
That, paired with the fact that I personally tend to scrapbook a little less during the summer months, has led me to the conclusion that the time to scrap up a storm is NOW! The idea here isn't to plough through my supplies or rush to create dozens of layouts, but to intentionally use and enjoy the products I already own while creating layouts I'm proud of and eager to show off. I hereby challenge myself to stop hoarding that "perfect" sheet of paper and that "irreplaceable" sticker and get down to business documenting my family's memories. And I challenge you to do the same!
You can read more about the challenge & sign up to participate right here.
As most of you know, I'm a design team member at The Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. The CKCB is an amazing resource when it comes to using your supplies and if you're not already familiar with the concept of a counterfeit kit I highly recommend you take a moment to visit their site for more info!
In April, I'm going to try my very best to "kill my kit" for the first time ever ... to use every last scrap of paper and every enamel dot, no matter how tiny!! The CKCB design team will be unveiling our kits on April 1st, but since I've already made 4 layouts using my kit I thought I'd share a few sneak peeks ...
I hope you'll join me in April for the full reveal of these projects, and more!
