A Layout Without Patterned Paper

Challenge #3 is now live over on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog and it's a tough one! Or, at least, it's a tough one for someone like me who is absolutely obsessed with patterned paper. That's right ... the challenge this week is to make a layout without using any patterned paper

Now, coming from a blog that's suppose to inspire you to use up your stash, you may find it strange that we've issued a challenge to avoid using the one supply most of us scrapbookers have in excess. There is a method to our madness: this challenge will give you a chance to use up other supplies like spray mists and stamps and washi tapes.

Here is my page, using a Prima star stencil, Mister Huey's, fabric frames, washi tape, sequins, stickers and heart mirrors ...

I hope you'll be able to play along. If you do, be sure to link your layout up over on the CKC blog so we can leave you some love.

  1. So much texture on here - I don't even MISS the patterned paper!
Heart mirrors? Where did those come from?

    1. lol those heart mirrors are by Heidi Swapp, I think I bought them in 2008 or 2009. They've been in my stash for awhile! :)

  2. Great layout, love how you've shadowed your Polaroid :)

  3. this is so pretty: the stars, the sequins, the mirrors, the colours, the frames and of course the romantic sentiment!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! xo
